A 22-year-old Missouri man is facing charges for alleged Internet sex crimes. Authorities have charged the man, and Boy Scout leader, with two counts of encouraging a sexual performance by a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Authorities began investigating when they received a complaint from the Boy Scouts of America about inappropriate conversations and exchanges occurring on Facebook. The organization cited the name “Sarah McGee” as the Facebook account holder that allegedly engaged in conversations with minor boy scouts. Scout officials believed the messages may have been coming from a Boy Scout leader.
